Motorola Droid comes with Google Android OS 2.1 and multitouch
The handset maker says it will update its Droid phone to the Android 2.1 software. The update is rumoured to deliver multitouch functionality to the device.Great news for Motorola owners . Motrolla Droid software is going to upgraded later this week.
The announcement was made on their official Facebook page, and claims that the over the air software update will bring the Droid software up a peg or two towards the Google Nexus One, although some features wont be present.
According to Engadget’s trusted sources the 2.1 software update for the Motorola Droid will be bringing multitouch capabilities to the built in browser and also for Google Maps 3.4 and Google Goggles visual search.
