Blackberry bold 9700RIM has introduced its latest BlackBerry Bold, the Bold 9700, that will replace the existing BlackBerry Bold.The second-generation Bold should be available across India as of now, via most Indian mobile carriers: Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Tata, Idea Cellular, BSNL, Aircel, MTNL .RIM has finally packed it all goodies into one device with the Onyx — 3G, WiFi, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera – and they’ve done it in a tight form factor.BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone features a full QWERTY keyboard “with finely sculpted keys and chrome frets”, optical trackpad, a 480 x 360 pixels light-sensing display, BlackBerry OS 5.0, HSDPA,  Media player, 3.5mm headset jack, camera with LED flash, 624MHz processor, 256MB of flash memory, and MicroSD card support.Noticeable change in latest Bold is , trackball found in the BlackBerry Bold has been replaced by a touch-sensitive trackpad. Users can move their fingers over the trackpad to explore menus and then press and click to select an item of their choice. For fast web experience RIM has improved browser in latest Bold.

Qcubicle.com is now available on mobiles

WOW!… Qcubicle is now launched it’s mobile version web site. I have just finished working on it and verified using my HTC Tattoo. Cool . i will add a device screen snap later. It looks pretty good in my HTC tatoo. We will verify shortly in other smart phones also. May we cannot support whole range of mobile devices but sure we can support at least latest smart phones.

Open device browser  and focus control on address bar . Before entering URL ,select input mode “WWW” from device control panel of the selected device. Device control options appears in right hand side of any selected device .

Mobile applications are often build to be agile  and reliable as pC based applications in order to meet the challenge .Mobile application testing has evolved as a seperate testing stream.Always recommende3d to have seperate strategy for mobile application testing.Evolution of mobile devices has opened up avenue to integrate mobile applications into the mainstram computing.Mobile application s started delevering complex functionalities  in key domains on platforms that have limited capabilities.Mobile environment/domain is consistuted by a variety of devices with diverse hardware and softwares.This diversity in mobile enviroments present challenges in developemnt and testing.More over required unoque strategy.

Mobile applications are classified into two  category standalone applications and enterprise applications . Standalone applications reside inside in the mobile handset and do not have external communications or external interface with external systems.Enterprise aplications are built to perform resource intensive transactions across environments.Enterprise applications also   interface with external system through WAP  or HTTP/HTTPS.
